We are getting ready to begin the adoption process. I would like to remain anonymous until it comes to pass, but am wondering if any of you ladies could pass along some tips or resources on things to do to prepare for the home study? No tip is too big or too small. I understand I need to make sure my doggos are up to date on shots, I have a room prepared for our kiddo, which we already do, and basic things like that. It all seems like so much to take in and be prepared for, I’m a little overwhelmed at it all. What is some advice you wish you would have known at the beginning or things you recommend doing or not doing? Resources on where to go through to get matched for private adoption? Excuse all the questions, I really am brand new at this.
