If there are two names you love, do you combine them (first and middle) or save one of the names for the future sibling? (Assuming It’s your first child and you plan on having more)

I would do first and middle. I know with my kids all the names I loved for the first one changed. Some of the ones I was in love with I don't even like anymore. I have a son and am pregnant with a second son and our lists of names are completely different with each. That's just me though.

I was in that predicament. I just chose the name I loved more, which was hard. I didn’t want to combine them because I didn’t like the way they sounded together. But it’s completely up to you. If you love the sound of them both together, use it!

Do the names go well together? If I love them together and dont just love them exclusively as first names, then yeah I might combine them. even if you do have more kids, there’s no saying they’ll be the same gender (unless it’s a unisex name). If they don’t go well together, I wouldn’t pair them just for the sake of having my favorite names together
