1 week old sleeping too much

So my 1 week old has to be woken for most meals. He went 7 hours last night without waking. After eating he slept another 4 before I just woke him to feed again. Is this normal? My first was up at least every 2 hours to eat all day long. Not complaining about the sleep and have a call into the pediatrician but just curious if this sounds alarming to anyone else? Thanks in advance!
