Baby shower?

Hello to all the lovely mamas,
I know there’s been a few questions similar to this but I’m feeling sooo lost. 
I’m pregnant with my first so I would like to have a baby shower, obviously in a safe way (virtual/drive by)
I just feel like I’m not sure what to do and where to start. It’s all new to me. I’ve created a registry but no one really knows about it yet beside my immediate family. 
What are you doing for a baby shower? All virtual, drive by, none at all or something else?
If anyone could give me any tips/pointers I would appreciate it soooo much. Thank you 💛

I have always hated baby showers so I’m so glad Covid gave me an excuse to not have one. Didn’t have a bridal shower either... I get that some people need the gifts and like all the fuss. You should do what you feel confortable with and what you want.

We’re doing a drive by shower , decorate the yard and everything and make some goodie bags for everyone it’ll be 45 mins so we won’t just be waiting outside for a while or running in and out of the house to grab gifts. Afterwards we’ll get on zoom with everyone and open our gifts just so we won’t have to be around people because of the virus it’s safer for us that way because our other kids will be present.

We’re doing a zoom shower on the 22nd. I sent out paper invites with my registry info to make it seem more legit (I’m a FTM). We’ll email the zoom link a week in advance to those who rsvp’d. 
My cousin found ways to make it interactive. She’s setting up polls in advance within zoom for people to vote on while I open gifts (example: Who is more likely to change more diapers? Kendra or Ryan). There’s a website where people can guess things about baby (name, weight, DOB, hair color, etc) and the website awards points. We can’t name a winner until the baby is born, but people have been asked to fill it out before the shower. My cousin might read off funny or cute guesses if things get awkward. 
I went to a zoom shower in April. It was like 40 min tops. Quick and easy. 
We’re telling people and put on our paper invite we hope to throw a “meet the baby” party in the summer ‘21 if/when it’s safe to express our gratitude in a larger group.

I’m having a regular cookout baby shower the last weekend in August so everyone can be outside and social distance appropriately. But I also told everyone I understand if they do not want to come to the actual shower due to COVID.

I’m doing a regular baby shower with my family and close friends outside at the end of September or beginning of October BUT for my family who’s been super strict on social distancing we are doing a virtual shower on Facebook, I added my aunts address to my registry so people could send gifts from my registry to her house and we have a Facebook event, and then I’ll be opening their gifts on a live video and playing a couple of games where they can win a gift card or just for fun! It’ll probably be about a 45 minute event.

I was going to do a small shower at home because the heat I don’t want to be outside but with everything going on I’ve decided to just do a drive by shower. Everyone will come and bring whatever gift they have gotten, I’ll open them while they are here and give them some cupcake favors my SIL is making for me as she’s a baker and has her own business. We will also have a diaper raffle for people to write their names on a ticket while they are here and I will announce the winner he next day and get them there gift I’m making. Thinking of maybe cooking and packing to go boxes for everyone to. Just something we’ve always done at any event, you have food. But still deciding on that one
