How are you introducing baby?

I am struggling on what boundaries to put in place around how to introduce our baby girl (coming any day now!) to our family given Covid. We are in the SF Bay Area and our county just got shut down again. 
Yes I have talked with our pediatrician, but I am curious about what others are doing.
How are you (especially those in hot spots) managing it? We are thinking outside, 6 feet away (edit: wearing masks, potentially no mask if they are significantly further away). Then, to see her up close, we will take her inside and people can come up to the sliding door. No one holding her (you will probably hear my MIL ranting and raving when she finds out 😬). 
I also have anxiety over my brother and sister in law not taking distancing seriously. They are in the process of moving back from out of state and have been getting together with lots of their friends. They are living with my dad until they close on their house in a few weeks, making me uncomfortable about my dad's exposure- for his sake and my daughter's. 😫

I think your boundaries sound valid! Our pediatrician told us to meet people outside, stay 6 feet apart, and no one holding or touching the baby. She actually suggested for the first two months. Things are still bad in our state so my husband and I may change our minds about when he can be held, but for now, short visit outside, mask, no touching, 6 feet apart. To see the baby up close we will go inside and they can come up to the window. You’ve probably already heard my MIL screaming because she was told a few days ago and it didn’t go well.

Your precautions sound great! Remember, this is your baby and you are in charge of its health. That means if there’s any time to put your foot down and demand certain measures be taken, it’s now. 
We will be doing similar things- family can visit, but everyone is outside and wearing masks, no one will hold the baby but my husband and me. Everyone will be putting on hand sanitizer even though they aren’t touching baby (sometimes people forget and grab a foot or something because let’s face it- babies are cute and squeezable).

We've been having our two friends over every tuesday night for game night, we only stayed in total quarantine for 2 months. We go out somewhere fun once a week as well, but my husband is the only one who goes to the store.
I intend to introduce the baby to our friends the first Tuesday night after the baby's born, assuming I'm up for it. Everyone must wash hands first, but only the first time. 
As of family I don't really get a choice. I assume my mother in law and husband's 2 little sisters will just barge in and see the baby. Ideally they would see the baby at least 2-3 weeks after they're born so I can relax before facing them. (Clearly I don't like my mother in law) my mother will come over at some point within the first month. But after that everybody can just leave me and baby alone, I just want to relax and bond with my little one, and really just don't want anyone fussing over the baby all the time.

My parents and my in laws will be visiting. I’m not requiring masks. My MIL currently has our son while we adjust to having baby here, plus, he keeps her company at home since she’s alone till she goes back to work. 
My family members are very careful and they take precautions to avoid the virus. My husband just got over Covid right before I delivered my daughter. He got it from a selfish, careless coworker of his. I’m lucky my body waiting till his 10th day from symptoms to go into labor or he wouldn’t have been allowed.

We are not allowing any visitors, likely for the first few months but we’ll play that by ear. My mother is allowed to move into our house to help out because she lives alone and has been quarantined for the whole month already, plus she’s already had COVID in March. Everyone else will meet him through pictures and FaceTime calls. It’s sad but these are the times were in right now unfortunately 😕

If you’re in a hot spot I definitely agree on masks.
I asked our Ped while in the hospital. We aren’t in a hot spot anymore. However, our Ped said she doesn’t suggest isolating from family postpartum and that people can meet baby but do it safely. She said all the typical precautions, good hand washing and absolutely no one that is sick around baby. And she also suggested anyone holding baby should wear a mask. She said although they say babies and kids aren’t as effected from covid that babies and kids have still died from it and she believes the numbers are higher than what we think because there’s just not enough data on it.
We’re still doing limited visitors but following what she said. The only ones that we aren’t requiring to wear a mask are my parents because they’ve watched my toddler while I was working and while we were in the hospital, so we have all had he same exposure right now anyways.
