38 weeks today and doctor wants to schedule an induction for early next week! I'm so nervous. I tried calling the office this morning to set up the appointment and they haven't called me back.

The induction is because I have a big baby who was measuring at 8 pounds at my 36+6 week appointment. Doctor is afraid that he will be a 9-10 pound baby if we wait until I go into labor. He doesn't think baby will descend into the birth canal and I will need a c-section. I'm still not dilated at all, so he thinks I will go to 41 weeks, and they'll still have to induce me.

Talked to my husband and my mom and they both agree that I should go through with the induction, especially since I've been so miserable. Been itching, cramping, always have back, pelvic, and groin pain, i can't do squats at all because it causes extreme pain, etc. Pretty normal pregnancy things, but mine are very intense and I am having trouble functioning at this point. And my husband is tired of me bitching all the time 🤣
