Baby monitor recs/do you mount tne camera?

I have a video baby monitor but there isn’t a very good place for it in the nursery and we just moved him into his crib/own room. It sits on a table next to the crib but i can’t see very well his face and it drives me insane. It doesn’t have a very wide range so it’s basically level with my baby. I’ve tried putting it on a shelf so it’s higher but still doesn’t do it. Do you mount yours on the wall and how?

I will also take recommendations of a better monitor!! I didn’t do my research before registering for this one and I’m regretting it!!
