How to fix my flat roots?

I have relatively curly hair, but my roots are always flat. Does anyone know any products/ methods to make my roots curl like the rest of my hair? Face was looking rough sorry lol

I hope I can explain this correctly because it has really helped me- After you put styling products in your hair, section the top area off in a clip. Style and scrunch the main bottom section. At the very end, take the clip out and take a brush- brush pieces of that top section straight up from the top of your head and let fall. Keep doing that until the whole section is done. Then flip upside down and scrunch your hair really good. Additionally you can use root clips or small claw clips to clip some top pieces of your hair up a little bit as it is drying to help with volume. Also, diffusing upside down never hurts..
