The following is a very upsetting subject that could be triggering to some people.

Recent news in the United States has brought attention to the disturbing societal problem of Human Trafficking and  Child Sex Trafficking in particular. Understandably many people want to do their part to end it and protect children. Most people do not know where to start. With so much information available at our fingertips but it is hard to tell what the most reliable resources are. 

We have compiled a list of organizations that have been fighting to stop Human Trafficking and as well as Child Sex Trafficking for several years. The following links have information and tips for talking to children about staying safe online and in real life. As well as what to look for, Child Sex Trafficking happens everywhere and the signs don’t stand out for most people. There are ways to volunteer, donate, and spread awareness of this very important problem.

Polaris Project A North American organization founded in 2002. 

Stop the Traffik Works to end human trafficking around the world.

National Center for Missing and Exploited Children Is a US based non profit established in 1994.

Love146 Is an international organization dedicated to ending sex trafficking.

OUR Rescue Operation Underground Railroad, is a worldwide organization.

Save the Children Is a London UK based organization and works around the world. This organization is separate from the recent  #Savethechildren and #saveourchildren.
