Mastitis?

UPDATE: it’s mastitis.
Hi ladies! I woke up this morning with my left breast a little sore. Thought I slept on it wrong or something. Well as the day progressed I began to feel achy. 
Now I’m in bed with a low grade fever, freezing. I’m so scared it’s covid. 
However the pain is now in both breasts... so possibly mastitis?

I definitely had the same symptoms when I had mastitis and I thought it was COVID! I was freaked out but I saw my OB and took antibiotics for it and got better but took a while.

Hi! This has happened to me! If your fever isn’t over 101 it’s not technically mastitis and they can’t order you antibiotics 😒 if your fever is less it may just be clogged ducts. With clogged ducts you can still feel achy and have red spots in your boobs (it’ll be verging on mastitis at this point). I’ve had clogged ducts ~4 times so far and they’ve always resolved themselves within a day or two. You can try massaging your boobs to release the ducts, hot showers help, and you can soak your boobs in water with Epsom salts (yes it’s as awkward as it sounds). Also something someone here recommended was ordering the LaVie breast massager. I ordered one and it’s amazing! It’s relieved my clogs since ordering!

Is there any red spots on your breasts ? That exact thing happened to me , however I then realized I had redness on my boob and a lump , which are signs of mastisis along with the fever and flu like symptoms . Antibiotics helped tremendously
