3 or 6 drawer dresser?

Do we need to buy a 3 or 6 drawer dresser for the nursery? First time parents but we want to get something that will last more than the baby period since our crib is convertible into a toddler bed.  The baby clothes are so small I’m having second thoughts on whether we should do the 3 or 6 drawer dresser - any advice?

We actually did this 8 drawer dresser and use the 4 top rows for small things like diapers, extra cream, socks, hats, etc. all inside different sized divider boxes. Being wider also leaves space for his changing top and storage space on top as well. We figured if our son grows with it great or if we have another child close together and they have to share the nursery they can share the dresser pretty easily.

I don’t recommend this dresser. I don’t know anything about it but to comment I had to add a link 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️. I just got through putting away my baby clothes yesterday and I ended up needing a full sized dresser and all the drawers in a chest of drawers. I organized all baby clothes by size (newborn, 0-3, 3, 3-6, 6-9, 9 and up). Then in my chest of drawers (5 pull out drawers), I did hats/mittens/socks, burp cloths and bibs, receiving and muslin blankets, heavier/fuzzy blankets, and towels and wash cloths. I also have a night stand where I put extra stuff like lotions, wipes, diaper rash cream, etc. if you want something that will last for several years, I’d go ahead and do a full sized dresser for sure!

I got this dresser, and the smaller drawers up top is for smaller items. But you can buy dividers and use a 3 drawer dresser. It truly depends what’s best for you.

We bought this dresser and baby isn't here yet but I think it will work great. I didn't want something too bulky. Plus we have a walk in closet in her room. Depending on your closet space you might want a bigger or smaller dresser.

We have a 4-drawer dresser and it was fine for the first year or so, but now my son is almost 3 and his clothes are much bigger, so I wish we had the bigger dresser.

I stared with 3 by a year old I need more I now use 5 as well as hanging her dresses in the wardrobe.
