Inducing labour?

I know baby will come when they come, but I’m actually scheduled for a csection as I had one with my first. My doctor is allowing me to try VBAC if I go into labour naturally aka not medically done before the date of my csection. I’m only 36 weeks (planning to try at the 37 week mark) but csection booked for 38 weeks 3 days. Anyone have any suggestions? He’s head down!

Are they inducing you that early for a medical reason/concern ? I feel like they are not even giving you time to go into labor naturally at all.

Walk!!! Yoga ball, raspberry leaf tea to help strengthen uterus, prime rose oil, sex, you can talk to your OB about midwifes brew as well ( it has castor oil in it so its best to ask first) but lots and lots of movement. Go for long walks and even hikes if you can. The yoga ball exercises will help bring baby down into the pelvis. Sex really helps too. Not only the act of doing it but sperm actually helps soften/thin out the cervix.
