Vaginal Itching/Burning

Hi everyone. So for like four months I suffered from a yeast infection & the gyno was no help. the antibiotic they gave me didnt help & they said I needed to go to a specialist so i was like no lol & tried monistat from the drugstore & it worked!! the gyno shouldve suggested that.

lol anyway, a few days ago I started getting itching & major sensitivity around my clit which I assumed it was from using my vibrator too much. then, the rest of my vagina (like the outside not in the hole lol) was itching and burning like crazy. I realized that my mom had been using scented fabric softener in my laundry so i’m assuming im irritated from that. i feel a little better when i apply a&d ointment and sleep with no undies on.

Long story short, does this sound like another yeast infection or just irritation? & what should I do? as stated, i dont trust the gyno so i want to avoid going back & wasting more money.
