Why do people feel the need to give me their opinion when I didn’t ask

I’m very heavily tattooed. I have one full sleeve and one half sleeve and every other part of my body has at least one really large tattoo on it. I love my tattoos, I think they’re beautiful and they make me feel more myself. I get my fingers tattooed on Friday and I’m SO excited about it. But almost every single person over 30 that Has heard me talk about it has been literally so rude. They give me comments like “you’ll regret that when you’re older” or “as an adult, I really don’t recommend you do that” or “but you’re skin is so beautiful”. Like wow good thing I didn’t ask you. And as if I’m not beautiful with tattoos anymore? Like why would that make me any less beautiful? GOODBYE KAREN.
