Anyone transitioning their kido from their crib to a toddler bed??

My girl is still in her crib ave will be until she learns to climb out of it. She’s tiny so she won’t outgrow it weight wise. Also she’s staying in it for as long as possible because she’s getting a baby brother nov/dec and we don’t want her leaving her and messing with him.

My son is dangerous while awake and I would feel too nervous with us having stairs. He will probably be in the crib till he is 3 🤷‍♀️

Not planning on transitioning for a year or so. As long as he's not climbing out, he will stay in the crib for a while.

We transitioned her last month to a toddler bed. It wasn't that bad. Every night after I tuck her in she will get a book from her bookshelf and read. I let her do this for about 10 minutes and then I go in and tell her to go to bed.
I thought it was going to bed hard to get her to stay in bed, but she is good about it.

My daughter is in a twin bed. She learned how to jump out of her crib early! It wasn’t difficult for us. She’s to the point now that she doesn’t get up when she’s going to sleep and if she wakes up at night she’ll just walk to our room and get in bed with us without making any noise. I’m sleeping a lot more now that she’s in a big girl bed then I ever did with her in a crib.
