My daughters name is Harper. My father in-law is constantly calling her Harpie which drives me nuts since a harpie isn’t the nicest thing to call someone, especially a woman. I’ve dropped subtle hints and asked him to not call her harpie but he still does. My husband sees nothing wrong with it and thinks I’m overthinking it. He also thinks “no one even knows what a harpie is.”

Question is: am I over thinking this or would you also be annoyed by it.
