I am a 32 year old mom and have a 14 year old son.

My husband is posted in another country for work and hardly available to talk.

I used to bathe him until he was 13 and recently quit doing it.

However I observed him being upset since a few days and tried to ask the reason but he wouldn't answer as he is quite shy and innocent.

One morning he woke up crying and I asked him frankly as to what the problem was. He replied he had some itching near his groin area. Also he seemed to have wet the bed.

After some hesitation, I asked him to open his underwear and noticed large hair growth around his penis and testicles. I also observed some drops of sticky semen which could have been due to his nightfall without his noticing it.

As he hadn't started shaving his beard (it is quite small currently) he was not aware how to shave.

Hence I used the scissors to first cut the long hair (had to carefully do near the base of the penis) and then used a trimmer for the shortened hair and on the testicles (I did not allow him to do it himself as the skin in the pubic area was quite soft and he could have had hurt himself).

Do i need to apply (or ask him to) a moisturizer until his hair starts to grow to avoid dryness.
