My boyfriend and I have been together 6 months I know it’s not long at all. He is from Africa and I’m African American Kansas girl. He been in America for a year and a half now and we feel in love immediately he never given me any doubts of anything in our relationship. But his family is still in Africa and they keep making comments to him saying “you need to find a African girl” or “ I’ve found a good girl here for you”(meaning in africa). I try not to let it bother me because they have meet besides a few hi’s on FaceTime and I know I’m a loving person and I love their son soo much! But idk should I bring it up to him my feelings or should I just ignore what they say because our relationship is still “fresh”.

Any advice please!
