Anyone is having second baby? And feel like u ignoring them?

I feel like im ignoring im prrgnant. I didnt talk to my baby coz im busy with my first daughter :/ felt so bad. Is it normal? Smtikes i tend to forget that im pregnant :((

I would look at it more as, baby hears you talk to his or her sibling , where as your first one you are only really talking to spouse and friends. You are probably reading stories and playing pretend with number one which is all still beneficial .

I’ve not paid as much attention to my bump as with my first but I know he will get plenty of attention when he comes out and then I will feel like I’m ignoring my toddler. They will learn to be on the same team eventually. I have a brother 5 years younger than me and I don’t remember feeling neglected by my parents at all but I do have memories of us growing up together 💜

Don’t be so hard on yourself, life is busy. I’m pregnant with my 3rd but she will bc the 4th child in our home as our niece stays w us too. 
I think the only time I talk directly to the baby right now is to ask her to stop kicking something that hurts 😂
In the womb the baby isn’t actually processing what we are saying they’re just learning to recognize our voices. 
I sometimes forget I’m pregnant too and honestly all the time I worry that after she is born that I’ll forget her 😱 but I worried the same before I had my second lol and Ive never forgotten a child. It all balances out just fine

Kid number five for me. I've compartmentalized it. I know I'm baby is relatively safe and taken care of while in the womb. He does not need my constant attention like the other four. I also have a special needs child that honestly takes up a lot of time and energy so it's just easier for me to go about life as normal as possible till the baby is here. He's not hurting for attention and care right now because my body is providing it so why stress something that doesn't need to be stressed over. I don't feel a connection right now that's true and it was the same for my last pregnancy which I was very similar in thought about but I know once he's here that will change. Give yourself a break and know that just because you don't treat the same as your first pregnancy doesn't mean you don't love your child. It's hard being a mom and being pregnant, it's a lot to do all at once. Just know its OK to not react the same the second time around you have much more demands on your time and attention now.

Yes, I don't talk to this baby as much because when I talk, my 2 year old thinks I am talking to him. :p but as soon as baby is here, he will get lots of my attention

I feel you. I’m so attached to my one year old sometimes I do forgot that I have another on the way because I feel like I really wanted to spoil her and give her the world before I could bring another sibling of hers along.

Sometimes I tell my first “baby can hear us” or “what story should we read to you and baby?” Things like that. But yeah, not really talking to baby or having my husband read the bump books like with my first. But baby still hears me talk. And sometimes in the evening I enjoying sitting with just me and the bump even if I’m not talking
