Do you think Rylan sounds like a boy name? Or girl?

So we like the name Rylan for a boy, our 3 year olds name is Kyler so we thought it would be cool also because my husband lost his brother Ryan 5 years ago. We have been asked to not use Ryan by my mil (understandably so, still very hard for her) but it still would be a nice tribute with a twist. I respect that some of you may not like the name, and that’s ok :) just wondering if when you hear it you think boy or girl. It is only listed under boy names when I look it up also Ryland is an option too which is literally adding one letter lol. My husband and I like it but I’m hoping I’m just getting in my head about.
