I’ve finished high school this year, and a friend of mine has asked me every week to go out either drinking (I’m 18 it’s legal here) or to go out for dinner and every week I have to say no due to not having money or having other plans.

She asked me today do I want to go out for dinner tomorrow and I said I’d let her know In the morning as I don’t know if I’ll have money. I babysit a lot so I normally have money from that but the people I babysit for have been out of the country and currently in quarantine so I’ve had no money for a few weeks, I don’t want be asking my parents for money with me going to university in a few weeks and that obv being really expensive.

I’m stuck in whether I should ask my parents for money once again or decline for like the 7th time?

Someone please help because I don’t want to sound as I hate her and don’t want to see her.
