Glucose Test - do you need to fast before it??!

Do you need to fast before doing your glucose test? I have to do my test in the morning and I forgot to ask my doctor if you need to fast! I’m getting mixed reviews on the internet. Please let me know! Thanks!

1hr test fasted and passed. I stopped eating before midnight the night before and my test was around 8am. And I’m one of the weird ones that liked the taste of the drink. I had the lemon-lime flavor and it was cold so maybe that helped.

I was told not to fast for the one hour. I had some eggs before for some protein and passed my test! The drink made me feel blah and gave me an awful headache I couldn’t imagine being on an empty stomach too.
