My fiancé and I are getting married in less than a month, and already we are having drama being caused about our wedding. In our state, masks are required EVERYWHERE, including weddings. Every protocol that has to be taken at a grocery store or restaurant, has to be forced at a wedding venue. My fiancé’s sister is throwing a fit, causing drama, and calling me a bad mom because of the mandate, and because I didn’t postpone OUR wedding... for the last 2 hrs, I have cried to my fiancé about how hurt my feelings are and he has said barely ANYTHING to me. The only thing he has said, is “I’m sorry” and “I don’t understand why she’s being like that”.. instead of messaging her himself and taking up for me. He’s letting her talk to me this way, and letting me do the talking. Am I wrong for asking him to take up for me and to tell his sister if she doesn’t agree to not come to the wedding?
