Me and my ex broke up early last year, so it’ll almost be 2 years now since i have last saw him.

My birthday was last month & i kept seeing a page stalk my insta for monthsss and i knew it was him...because im such a curious person i called him randomly didnt think about what the convo would consist of or if he still had feelings for me. We spoke for an hour just catching up, we both could tell the love was still there. He even mentioned he manifested me reaching out to him at the end of the month & i did in the last day 😅imagine!!

Then same day he texted me saying how he’s happy we’re talking again etc & then we texted everyday for a week & he would express getting back together if i would consider it & then i told him well actions speak louder than words that i need to know if you’re for sure, because obvs i still love him. He was basically my bestfriend me in make version!

Then we spoke about it somemore and i realised some patterns in our chat...basically him saying that we wanted to reach out to me in about 6 months or so when his got his life patterned as in finances etc (which was on of the reasons we broke up, he felt he couldnt date whilst in debt, but money was never a problem in my eyes i loved him).

This pattern kinda through me off like first u say u want me to give u another chance but u keep saying 6 months. I then fell back and started to give him cold replies Bcos i didnt wanna awaken love when it wasnt time, the way we got back talking again was so weird like it was meant to happen. So it was all scary in a good way though too good.

He then called me one random night out of the bloom we spoke for 8 and a half hours!!!! In the first couple mins i clarified to him why i began moving cold on text, he then cleared the air and said i should forget the 6 months time frame that we shouldn’t put a date on getting back together that we should let it happen naturally & i should disregard the time frame he kept repeating. Im thinking HOW how can i forget someone thats said over obvs you mean it & clearly its bad timing for us to try talk again cos clearly you aint ready & my intentions calling in the first place was to see if he was my stalker nothing to do with rekindling.

After that for the next 7 hours or so Not once did we mention “US” we just spoke about random topics in the world life etc...even though i was still unsure about his intentions i didnt wanna force the topic of his true intentions... I was thinking yh his happy he can call me again n text etc but i wanna know do u 100% want me again like should i actively allow myself to give u the opportunity to pursue me again.

I knew the playing hard to get thing wouldn’t work even if i tried bcos he want this guy bk to (but he doesn’t know that he just knows i am open to him trying).

So after that long call it has been exactly a week today now no text no call. Im thinking should i call him maybe his waiting for me to call him now since he called last. I dunno what to think or maybe his not interested in actively pursuing me again and he just told me to forget his 6 month plan to win me back to make me happy but his really sticking to it?!

Would it be okay if i call him bcos we communicate better on phone or i should wait n see if he does. Also our last convo that lasted for hours was like a strictly natural convo nothing to do with relationships so me calling wouldn’t be pressure on him right?
