Is this normal ?

When my boyfriend and I first started dating it took a lot for him to get aggravated with me. He was such a patient person. Almost a year and a half later, he gets aggravated with me and pissed off so fast now. I’m so scared our relationship is going downhill because that’s how my last (abusive) relationship was. At first my ex was patient and then it turned into him getting frustrated more easily and then he hated me and started being abusive. I don’t want that to happen in this relationship.

Is getting frustrated more easily after a while a normal thing ? I don’t want to go back to the abuse
