The fact that this wasn't discussed beforehand (in terms of consent and boundaries within sex) is a masisve red flag. No one should be doing that to you without permission- everything from name calling to physical interactions such as slapping/hair pulling/choking etc. This should have all been discussed beforehand and the fact that neither of you sat down to have this conversation is...concerning. Did you not think to share kinks/likes & dislikes etc with one another before shagging? He should have expressed his likes & dislikes/kinks as well.
