Any advice ?

My 3.5 year old has been a pain in the butt I don’t know why he won’t listen anymore like I feel like everyday I have to punish him for something and it’s getting me tired I hate telling no or putting him in time out or even yelling at him idk if pregnancy can change his attitude or this quarantine is making us both crazy 😪 I’m tired 31 weeks pregnant I’m done tired

:( I feel you. My 2 year old has been acting off lately too. Not sure if she senses upcoming changes due to pregnancy and baby arrival, or is dealing with the long changes in our routines due to the virus, or a combo. I’ve been reading about “time in” vs “time out” and I try to remind myself that she is trying to process the same big emotions we as adults do, but with significantly less understanding of the world or skills with which to process. I also try to remind myself that she isn’t trying to be bad or push my buttons all the time, but that she’s exploring her environment and sometimes seeking attention because she misses it. Hang in there!

I have four other kids and yes behaviors have always changed in my children as I near the end of each pregnancy. Currently my five year old is refusing to sleep in her bed and my one year old though little has taken to telling me no with attitude in his eyes. My three year old is special needs so I'm thinking his behavior modifications are more to his lack of his therapies due to lock down and not the baby yet. My oldest is an almost teenager so his attitude is that. Your little one may not completely understand but life is changing and that's all that matters. I spend a lot of time yelling these days and I hate myself for it I really do but some days I just can't take anymore

I’m so sorry - I have no advice but wanted to say I’m going through the same. I think it’s mainly bc I’m overtired, sore, cranky, hormonal and easily irritated that it’s 200x worse but my poor 17 month old is driving me bananas and I’m sad I can physically play with him like I used to. Not too much longer until I can dance and really play with him! Thankfully his dad is really good about pushing him around on his car, running around with him on his shoulders etc.

Any advice ?
