Also, do you know of any ways to decrease the chances of testing positive? I get tested in 2 weeks 😬

I tested positive and am allergic to penicillin 🤦🏼‍♀️ so I had to stay in the hospital an extra 2 days😭

Did the swab on 8/19 and the results cannot be viewed yet and they haven’t called yet. Lol 😂 so either they will call me or I can pull the results on 8/26

Positive for 1st, negative for 2nd, and we will see with this baby. 
I’ve never heard of doing anything to not test positive... they’ll just put you on antibiotics during labor and delivery

My midwife recommended probiotics throughout my pregnancies. I swear I heard her say it was to help with gbs but it honestly could have just been to help stay regular too 🤷‍♀️ pregnancy brain is a real thing 😂

Tested negative for my first child and positive for my second. Haven’t been tested for this one yet, I was told that the reason doctors wait till about 36 weeks to test is because you could have it but test negative.

I tested positive with my 2nd. I went into labor and they started antibiotics before he was born and he was perfect. There is no way to decrease chances. Its just an overgrowth of certain bacteria.
