Potty training

My daughter is 17 months old. I never imagined I would be thinking about potty training at this point, but hear me out.

I started reading a book because I like to be prepared. It talked about the signs of readiness. She met some (like pooping in private), but not others (she doesn’t know her ABCs).

I started talking to her about poop and pee, and I taught her the signs for both. She caught on super fast. She started to sign to tell me when she pooped or peed and would also grab her diaper, asking me to change her.

Today she told me she had to poop before she did it. She signed “poop” and her diaper was clean. Then she proceeded to poop a few seconds later.

Has anyone had a child potty train this early? I am shooting for about 22 months to start.
