So this just happened, my daughter rarely ever spits up. She's 5 weeks old. I breastfed her 45 mins to an hour ago. We keep her upright for about a half hour after feedings to help with any reflux/gas. We put her in a swing (it wasn't swinging) while we sat down for dinner and she vomited EVERYWHERE. It was curdled and had to be everything I gave her. It was so much. Anyway, she cleared it just fine and I cleaned her up and she's sleeping with her binky now. My first son had bad reflux, but I've never seen a baby vomit like this... I'm going to continue to watch it. I'm wondering if this could be due to my supply being too forceful? I fed her off my left side and my left boob is over producing, it's too much for her to handle sometimes so I've been reclining while I nurse and it seems to help. This feeding we had a bit more difficulty, she cried and unlatched, repeat about 5 times before she started falling asleep and I unlatched her. Burped her, the usual. Could this be why she vomited? Did she overeat? I don't want to worry myself sick. What can I do for her to make nursing easier? I know I'm definitely over reacting... we had to take my son to the ER twice between 2 & 6 weeks due to his reflux so this really scared me. Sorry this post is a novel 🤦🏼‍♀️ any advice is appreciated!!

Oh also I gave her gripe water and her vitamin d drops before nursing as well.
