How Often Do Your Kids See Your In Laws ??

How often do your children see your in laws ?? Comment below .
Edit : We live away from ours and they don’t reach out to me and I’ve tried reaching out first many times but nothing works . My mother in law doesn’t seem to care to have a relationship with me . So of course I feel awkward coming around with our baby boy

My MIL once a week via FaceTime bc she lives out of state. We physically go there 2-3 times a year. My FIL maybe once a year bc he only cares about himself. My in-laws are still married surprisingly.

I never understand the distinction between in laws and your own parents when they are all equally the child's parents. My in laws live 5 minutes from us and my parents live 20 minutes. My kids see each of them at least one per week, usually more. Even if they lived an hour away we'd still do our best to see them once a week. My in laws are planning to move about 16 hours away and they we'll only see them in summer, probably. But they all are interested in having a relationship with their grandkids. We usually initiate because they don't want to bother is or mess with the kids' schedules

We live right next door to my in laws lol. The kids go over there daily to see them but we only go maybe once a week, sometimes less.

So my in laws live about 30 minutes away. We do not have a good relationship so it has to be when my husband wants to see them. I stay out of it. My only complaint is not every weekend.
There was some huge boundaries that were crossed and I am working on forgiveness. But do not trust them driving with our child because of their age. And he has never spent the night with them. He is 15 months old and they have babysat him maybe 3 times?

My mother in law lives an hour away but she adores her son that she can't go too many days without seeing him.. yea hes her favorite.. so she drives down every couple of days too see him and see the kids.

We’re currently living with my in laws while we build on some land so everyday! Before that tho it wasn’t very often. Fil crossed some serious boundaries when our first was born/little and the relationship and trust really suffered. It’s way better now though. I still don’t leave them alone with the kids for more than 20 mins or so cuz I’m so insanely protective. 
My mom’s the only one I truly trust with them for longer periods of time.

We see my brother and sister in law every week for family dinner, but we only see my MIL and FIL MAYBE once a year. And we don’t see my hubby’s real mother at all. The parents all live out of state so it’s harder but honestly I think our relationship with them is better because we don’t see them as often so when we do they are all about chillin with the baby.

We moved across country when my first born was 2 months old. Many tears were shed on my in laws part and the guilt trip to my husband (still to this day). Those first 2 months we lived less than 5 minutes from them and maybe saw them once a week. My husband actually moved before I could and they went 3 weeks without coming over or even checking in through phone calls or texts when the baby was only a month old and we still lived within 5 minutes of them. We moved, his mom came to visit 3 months into the move. We pretty much had to beg her because she “didn’t want to come without her husband” who at the time couldn’t come due to work (this was in November). I traveled back in March, stayed at my parents house which is 2 minutes from my in-laws. They only came to see him maybe 3 of the 10 days I was there. We then didn’t see them again till July when they travelled to us. This was all last year. This year my MIL came in March when we had our second baby, again my husband pretty much begged her and even paid for her ticket. Then in July again. In between all these visits there is barely any communication. The way they acted when we told them we were moving you would think they’d be the type to want to FaceTime at least once a week but honestly they don’t seem to care. We’ve FaceTimed maybe 10 times total since we moved in August 2018 and we’ve initiated every time. I know it upsets my husband because my parents live a distance too yet come to visit us any chance they get (about 6 times a year) and FaceTime at least once-twice a week. 
I call my in-laws Facebook grandparents because if I post something all the comments of “I miss them” “their my heart” and so on come out so to other people they seem really close to us but in reality they barely make an effort.

My in laws live about 30 minutes away so about every other weekend or so since they just pop by or constantly ask. It's when my hubs agrees he wants to see them though,  his mom's crossed too many lines. Unfortunately they will never baby sit as they did not respect their other sons parental authority for his kids so we no longer trust them either with our daughter. Lots of past issues on top of new ones pretty much weekly. I try not to respond and just let hubs handle his parents. We still see them since it is his parents, but the lack of respect sadly has burned many bridges for them with us.
