Seriously, you won’t even notice it after a while. It’ll just register in your mind as “that’s how this person talks”, like someone with an accent. After they are more comfortable around you it usually lessens too.

Uh, my husband has tourette syndrome so he has "tics" rapid eye stitches and he "hums" and makes throat clearing sounds constantly especially if he's having a lot of emotions or is sleepy.
