I’m 21 & my beloved daughter is 2 and a half. We’re living with my parents until I get married in January. My step dad came home from work last week ( hes a fire fighter) & sounded really stopped up & he said he had a sinus infection. I said “that’s weird it’s the middle of August why would you get a sinus infection this time of year?” But he assured me that’s all it was.

3 days later my daughter gets a runny nose that’s bad for 2 days. Eyes puffy like it’s allergies but I knew it wasn’t because it’s August! Over the weekend it turned to a stopped up nose & I got a soar throat. We were both sneezing a lot but not so much now. Now my daughter has a rough cough with stopped up nose. My throat is still soar with horrible jaw pain when I open my mouth on the left side.

I’m 13 weeks pregnant. I’m really scared. Should we go get tested? My parents say we’ll be fine and there’s nothing that can be done even if we do have it. We won’t be leaving the house to go anywhere I don’t want to spread this even if it’s not COVID.
