Hi mamas! So I’m wondering if this is normal..? My daughter is 4, she has trouble focusing, following 2-3 step directions, easily aggravated about not being able to do something. Can’t exactly identify letters or their order. Can count but only to like 11. She can talk but not exactly fully.. still random nonsense in the middle. I just asked her to clap, walk to the door, and sit down. And she clapped but started to cry I guess out of frustration. She does indemnify all the animals and their sounds, and is just now getting into playing with dolls. She doesn’t dress up and do pretend though. I know it doesn’t sound normal at all and I don’t know what’s going on 🥺 she was supposed to be in preschool this year but due to covid, I decided to stay home with her and try to help teach her from home. I feel like such a failure, what did I do wrong?😔 she never been in daycare either. Also an only child, for now. I’m just at a loss! She has an appointment Sept 4th and I’m definitely going to ask for a referral to speech therapy, is there any other things I should ask for?
