Couldn’t be more happy!

Jessica

This pregnancy have been a roller coaster lol My due date was August 27th but my precious baby was born on August 21st at 1:42pm. I had ran into a couple issues during this pregnancy and my doctor decided that I would need to be induced earlier. I was giving the ok to have a VBAC or do a c section I choose the VBAC.... unfortunately I ran into another issue and c section became the option I was really upset because I had my heart set on a vagina birth but understood the risk and our health was more important. The day of my c section was scheduled for Friday August 21 at 3......The day before my c section I started to bleed and have very bad pressure pain...... and the urge to keep peeing every minute the bleeding did stop but the pressure pain stay around. I started having some contractions but thought it was Braxton-Hicks since I been having them for weeks now but then they started to get more noticeable and even worse they continue throughout the night.... the next day was my c section day I woke up around 1am and was hit with the same pressure like feeling again with a little more spotting that went away.... the contractions follow more intense.... I decided to push through them since we had to be at the hospital at 1pm to be admitted.... around 3am my contractions came full force 3-5 minutes apart. I could barley move or walk. My husband and I ended up heading to labor and delivery where they check me and told me I was already 5cm dilated. I was shocked so they decided to keep me since I was schedule to be there at 1 today. My doctor came in and ask me if I wanted to VBAC instead of a c section and I told them I would love to but couldn’t because of my issue and was scared of having a rupture or bleeding out badly like I did with my second born during my c section. My doctor told me he could do the c section if I really wanted to but he didn’t see the need when I was a perfect candidate and I had already started to labor naturally at home by myself and the chances of me bleeding out badly again like I did with my second son was very slim. I decided to give it a try and cancel the c section and do the VBAC I wanted to do from the start..... I labor a couple more hours and got to 7 cm before they decided to break my water they then use a ball to go between my legs to help decend the baby down for 30 minutes after 30 minutes they came back to check and told me her head was right there and it was time to push. I push for only 10 minutes and out came my precious baby girl she was 6 pounds 13.5 and 19 inches long. Today was the most amazing day ever I had a healthy baby girl and I have a successful vbac and didn’t have a bleed out or a rupture. Thank God for everything...... even tho we plan for her to be born one one she decided she was going to be born her own way and on her own time lol and I couldn’t be more happier that everything work out it was amazing and it was the best experience ever❤️ Good Luck to the rest of the mommas that due soon ☺️
