My son in 11 months and will bite me, I’m not sure if he does it because he knows I don’t like it but he will continue to do it even after I say a firm “no”.

Im torn on what to do, I don’t want a habit to develop but I also know he can’t really understand time outs or talking. I do tell him firmly to stop but I’m not sure if that is age appropriate for him, I’m afraid he doesn’t connect the two and he thinks I’m just being mean.

How do I discipline (for lack of a better word) in a way he understands?
