I know its a gender neutral name, but i feel like people might immediately think of it for boys as i only know boy Blakes, but love it for a girl only 💜

I love Blake for a girl but if you’re not 100% maybe you could do a spin-off of it such as Blakely or Blakney or something. I know girls with those names. Idk why people have such a problem with “boy names” being used for girls. Not every person is into super girly names like Sophia, etc. My daughter is Emerson and when I posted on here over 2 years ago I got tons of backlash on using a boys name for my daughter, spelling it with the SON at the end, etc. And now look at 2 years later how much the name Emerson has caught on for a girl! I also feel like it depends on the area you live in. For where I live, I had heard of way more girl Emerson’s than boy. It’s not commonly used around here for boys. In fact, when I told people Emerson actually originated as a boys name people had no clue. Name your baby whatever name you love! If the worst thing you’ve done for your kid is give her a “boy name”, I think she’ll be just fine!! 😉😉

Blake was our boy name but we found out we are having a girl. We did consider it for a while for our girl name but to me, I always think boy when I hear that name. Personally we are going with a different name, but i do think it is pretty for a girl too :)

My moms name is Blake, her aunts name is Josh and my name is Kyle. I love boy names for girls. I’m annoyed it’s such a trend now 😂
