FTM Diapers on registry?!

I’m getting close to sharing my registry with family and friends but I don’t have little things like diapers on it yet?! How do I know what brand/size to get and put on?! 
Are there any other little things like that I should have on there?

Yup. Plus baby may decide they don’t like a certain brand of diapers and may outgrow a size fast depending on birth size. But yes small things like - gripe water, gas drops, Tylenol, portable changing pad and wipe holder (for diaper bag). If you are having multiple changing stations in the house - especially if a multi floor place - good to have at least an inexpensive mat etc at each. I didn’t do wipe warmers, but liked the oxo wipe dispenser and would just refill it ($20 and still using it 2 years later!). Baby nail scissors (I trimmed my daughters at 2 days old!). A haaka is a nice thing if you plan to breast feed. Good luck!

I think on Amazon you can allow a “diaper fund” in which people basically put money towards diapers but you get to pick what diapers you spend it on.

Don’t forget the little things because they are usually things you end up really needing. If you have a preferred diaper or wipe brand put a small box on there so people know what brand you want. Things like medicine (Tylenol, gripe water, zarbees natural meds, nose frida) are also great to add.

Definitely follow the path of small things that you tend to forget about but really need. 
For example - temperature strips or forehead thermometer for when baby is sick. 
Nail clippers/baby nail scissors so you can cut baby’s nails.
Baby Q-tips/cotton wool balls for general cleaning and bathing, most people may use wipes for diaper changes but when it comes to bathing baby sometimes you need some cotton wool. 
Plenty of soothers/dummy’s if you are using those (some don’t like them, particularly if breastfeeding). I say have plenty because they’re tiny and get lost, particularly when out and about. Also if they fall out if baby’s mouth onto the floor while you’re out and unable to sterilise, you’ll need spares in your changing bag or stroller to give to baby. I’m not a fan of parents wiping the dummy on their clothes and putting back in baby’s mouth. Also not a fan of parents sucking the dummy clean in their own mouth before giving it back to baby. Neither of these ‘techniques’ are hygienic or safe. 
Another one would be having a fold up portable changing mat/pad to go in your changing bag - some public places like restaurants have changing units in the restrooms which are mostly hard plastic. It’s not comfortable for baby to lay on but I also find it super unhygienic to lay your baby on a surface where another baby has been changed, you don’t know if their parent wiped the table down after them. These food up mats are super cheap and handy to have, also for car rides if baby needs to be changed you can lay it across your car seats to protect the material if you’ve got a particularly messy explosion that can’t wait until you’re home or at your destination.
