Baby Shower with every baby?

Ok I  think that it’s totally unnecessary to have a baby shower with every baby. It’s okay with the first but after that it’s pretty overwhelming

I think it’s wonderful to celebrate every life individually. I wouldn’t lump my kids’ birthday parties so I won’t deprive my secondary child(ren) of being showered with love, either.

I think every child should be celebrated. You don't have to bring gifts every time. But in sure 1 pack of diapers or wipes won't kill you.

I only go to the first one. When someone on their fourth child I actually give them a shirt that says they need to stop having kids. They're on their 9th I give them a shirt that says the woman that's wearing the shirt has nine kids may have more but her family wants her to get fix.

I’ll def have one each time I’m pregnant. To me i don’t think it would be about the gifts just having my family get together and celebrate the baby before they come. It’s kinda like their first birthday party but in the womb. A womb party :)

It's a bit of a complicated issue in my opinion.
I can see how someone would want to celebrate the upcoming birth of each one of their children by having a party. It's a happy occasion for sure!
However, sometimes attending these gatherings especially when you arent particularly close to the person, can be a bit tedious and can appear to be a bit of a "cash/goods grab"
I wouldnt opt to have more than 1 shower, and I dont attend any showers other than the 1st. I do however send my regrets with a nice gift.

The original point of a baby shower was to help the family get started with everything needed for a baby so I don’t think any more are necessary.

I believe it’s whatever the mom wants 🙏🏻 i personally would only have more than one shower if the next baby is a different gender. 
I should have had a shower this year even though i had one last year for my first baby (a girl) 
But I’m having unexpected twin boys this time so a shower would have really helped us.
Covid and moving states stopped that from happening so people just got stuff off my registry if they wanted to.

I did not have one for my first , my boyfriends family wants to throw one for my second (first and second have different dads) this is the first grandchild for them.
