Infant daycare cost?

Hi everyone! I’m currently pregnant, and due in January of 2021. My husband and I are discussing our options for childcare. He is currently working part time at a grocery store. I’m working full time and making the majority of our income so I will be returning to work after my 12 weeks of maternity leave. 
How much does infant childcare cost in the Philly suburbs? We plan to move to the Havertown PA area soon so I can be closer to work. We are trying to decide if he should keep working full time, part time, or quit. 
Also, how do people feel about enrolling their baby in daycare in the middle of a pandemic?

I know you’re in Pennsylvania but here in nyc if you make under a certain amount you are eligible for childcare vouchers.  Maybe you should look into that in Pa.

I’m in tristate. Almost anywhere I looked was about $400/wk, though you can probably find cheaper if not affiliated with a corporation, like more of a mom and pop daycare. Those might run like $300/wk?? Not positive though.

If you will need childcare you need to start looking now and get on a waitlist. Infant spots are really hard to get.

If you’re planning quitting or part time hubby should try maybe full time just so youre not cutting your income too much

My recommendation would be to start contacting daycares in your area and inquire about rates. I found that just miles apart daycare prices ranged significantly.
