A post was recently made in a local moms Facebook group, this occurred in a neighboring district of mine. A Mom noticed a child’s background for distance learning consisted of confederate flags, “white people are the best” banners, and Pro-Trump items. When she asked her child about the student later the student shared he was a known racist in the school (Middle School Student). The class was also being taught by a black male. The Mother reported to the school who said they would address it.

The Facebook post had many mixed responses, from anger to saying the school shouldn’t control how someone’s home is decorated.
