Hi,

My baby is 8 months and he usually sleeps through the night. I am currently formula feeding him three times at night, 3-4oz each, I wake up with an alarm. Should I stop waking up all night to feed?

I know he shouldn’t need night feedings at his age if he’s sleeping but I am worried because he isn’t gaining much weight. He is at 25%. He hates formula feeding during the day and fights to drink 2-3 ounces over an hour each feeding. I don’t want him to drop all his formula feedings.

He takes 20 oz of formula and two solid feeds about 3.5-4oz. If I stop night feeds, he will drop to 10oz per day. I don’t think that is enough. What should I do?
