Period after miscarriage

Hi ladies,

I had a miscarriage at 5 1/2 weeks pregnant. Our doctor asked us to wait until after our first period to TTC. I did get what I think is a cycle however for the last 3 days it’s been barely any blood . There is some but it’s a really light flow , not even enough to feel a pad . Is this normal ?
