How often do you test?

I’m starting to track my ovulation and I’m confused on how often to test. I am using clear blue advanced as well as the strips. I’ve been testing every morning with the first pee, and had high readings. I decided to test when I got home from work and got a peak reading finally! 
Do you test am and pm?

With CB Advanced (the purple one), the instructions say to test *only* with first morning urine, until you achieve a “high” reading. After that blinking smile face, you can continue to test (anytime, multiple times per day) until to see the “peak” result. 
This is because CB Advanced looks for estrogen (surges overnight; best detected in FMU), then LH (second surge, usually mid-morning; best detected in urine between noon and 4pm.)
Overall, regardless of which test you use, just be sure to read *every single word* on the instructions inside the box... You got this!! Good luck!

I use the easy@home strips both AM & PM just to not miss it and when it’s dark I confirm with the clear blue (bc they’re expensive)

I took clear blue and the easy at home test every morning. Then I would take another easy at home test when I got home from work. If I thought I was close to ovulating I would take another clear blue test. Try to take your tests at the same time each day. Good luck!

I do not only test with first morning. 
Yes the directions say to and yes I have. 
But I have schedule that I follow with traditional strips. I do my traditional strips at 11am and 8pm. I get super strong undiluted yellow urine at 11am, darker than first morning. I’ve had a peak reading at 11am before. Just saying
