Hpt testing ?

Hi, can drinking to much liquids affect a hpt? I’m late four days.

Ovulate on August 5,

6 day after ovulation I got this sharp lower back pain

7 day I spotted super lite only when I wiped.

It never got heavy only wore a pantry liner. Only had quarter size spotting and that’s it. It was very lite pink. It lasted about 7 days. I took a test but was negative with an dent line. I drink a lot of water. Maybe it was dilute. It’s been really hard getting pregnant . My first pregnancy took us 9-10 yrs of trying. Second baby took us 5yrs. So frustrating! Sigh 😔
