When is it time to go to fertility spec?

I have been off of birth control for almost two years now and my current doctor (thinking about switching because I didn’t like the hospital I delivered at) says because my periods are always on time that she doesn’t see the need to go see a specialist. Two years of trying and nothing?? I know they said it can take time and maybe I’m being impatient but should I bring it up to my new doctor ??

Yes, I do think it's time to see a specialist. It's recommended that you do this at 12 months if you're 35 and younger, 6 months after that. Good luck!!

At one year. I would make an appointment and then give the current doctor a piece of my mind.

Anytime after a year. My periods were regular and on time every month but wasn’t getting pregnant on my own. My OBGYN gave me clomid but ended in blighted ovum and one chemical. I finally went to a fertility specialist after that and did IUI with meds and got pregnant my second round. I would definitely look into it.
