Circumcision after care?

Dear All, 
Has anyone done circumcision for their sons? How did you care for the pen*s after the circumcision? Were you applying any ointment until it healed? Pls advise me as I had my son circumcised and I’m wondering what to be applying on it?

They did the ring method for my son, so we are not waiting for the ring to fall off. We have been using vaseline during each nappy change, but we are wondering if we could use this wound healing ointment instead? We had ours done by this Jewish man, but he wasn’t clear on his aftercare instructions... he just told us what to do for the next 3 days and nothing afterwards

Should the vaseline be applied just on the tip of the pen*s or everywhere on the pen*s?

Vaseline during every diaper change, until it looks a little more healed. Do not let it stick to the diaper. Wipe gently during diaper changes.

As said Vaseline at each change. We applied it to the diaper itself since it is to keep the diaper from adhering. For the first couple days we kept on a Tylenol schedule.
Just keep him clean and changed often. It heals pretty quickly.

I did Neosporin the ring fell off in exactly one week

I used polysporin every diaper change and just kept the gauze on for a day and a half. It healed super fast.

Vaseline on top and around the ring
But don’t go too crazy with it

Did you do it at a doctor?
Whoever did it should have given you advice!
I can’t exactly remember but I know we were given some creams to use at every nappy change
Put a sterile gaze on top of the willie before putting nappy on. 
We also used a numbing gel that we had from the hospital
First 48 hrs very important
Make sure there are wet nappies
Think we bath next day or so...
We had one of those rings on...
It fell off few days after

Just a note to go with what everyone else is saying, depending on if your son has a wrap on it, that’s supposed to fall off on its own within a day or two, don’t pull it off after it’s allotted time to be on. My boys doctor told me to give 1 of my boys a bath to soak it off because it didn’t come off on its own. My other sons wrap fell off with his first diaper change.

I was told to alternate between ky jelly and an ointment like polysporin/neosporin every change until the follow up and go from there for follow up instructions. After our follow up we were told to just use the jelly until fully healed.

i would put the vaseline on a piece of gauze and then put it on top of it (for every diaper change) some times it dries depending how long it’s been on there so put a good amount of vaseline. but be  careful when taking it off
