I am just wondering the possibility of having endometriosis. I have had debilitating periods almost all of my life except when on birth control. Since being off of it for about 5 years my periods are unbearable with them being even more terrible this past year (I didn’t think it could get worse). I never talked about it or told my doctor because I just thought that’s how periods should be. When I say debilitating I mean unable to sleep, stand, walk, talk, eat, go to work, vomiting, severe bloating, nausea, sharp pains through ribs that make it difficult to breathe, migraines. This last cycle was the icing on the cake and finally scheduled obgyn. Also found out moms medical history and she was diagnosed with endometriosis at 28 (my age). Also been trying to conceive for past 5 months.

I just want to know if it is pretty likely I have endo so I know to advocate for myself for the doctor to look into this as I know it’s hard to get a diagnosis. I just can’t go through this pain again it really impacts my work and personal life.
