First pregnancy and CS birth
Hey mommies! I already have given birth at 38 weeks and 4 days via CS birth.
Reason: My cervix doesn't mature and dilate and baby's amniotic fluid is decreasing.
My surgery took 1.5 hr and stayed 2 hrs in recovery room. This is also my first baby. My baby is a girl and weighs around 7 lbs.
My concern is, pedia has told me that my husband's blood type and mine are rare as he is (+A) and I am (+O). Doc said it is fine but it's not really that compatible. (It's the first thing that worries me).
Secondly, yesterday baby's report was okay, today the nurse called me and said that she is having an increased of white blood cells which appears that she may have an infection of UTI.
For mommies who had experience at hospital birth, do you think it's is really fine or is it that serious? I need some comforting words and help from you.
I am still recovering from CS and the pain is so bad like I couldn't live without pain reliever now. I already pooped and peed normal, I can also stand and walk little slowly. I started bleeding also like having menstruation for more than 24 hrs, so now I am using adult diaper. Any same experience mommies?
Please give me advice how to take care of myself after CS birth and my baby. Your words are gladly appreciated. Thank you!
