My bfs grandma passed away a few months ago. Last night he came across a picture of her on fb and he immediately started getting teary eyed. I always tell him to cry, to just let it out but he holds it in as much as he can, he says crying is a sign of weakness. I never got to meet her because my bf thought she had more time and that I’d eventually get to meet her one day. I did meet his grandpa though (her husband) one day at his parents house. Anyways, he was saying that he regrets not visiting her more often. There was a long pause and then he said, “she would’ve loved you!..... just like my grandpa does” and smiled. And that’s when the big tears came out 😭 I love this man ❤️ he doesn’t know it but those words mean the world to me🥰
